As an ongoing process with a group of leaders within my church, we're working on our "Personal Calling Statement" which includes our purpose, core values, and our vision.  You'll see mine below - it will change periodically as it's under continual revision.

Mission Statement
Anita R. Flier

My Purpose is:
I live to glorify God by loving genuinely, serving faithfully, and worshipping consistently.

My Core Values are:
Faith:  Recognizing and believing that God is in all things.  (Hebrews 11:1, 6; Ephesians 3:12)

Love/Service:  God is love.  After not feeling it/having it, I'm driven to give it.  Jesus Christ laid down his life for me and I'll do the same for others.  (1 John 3:16, 18; Galatians 6:9, 10; Colossians 3:23, 24)

Worship:  A lifestyle that brings glory to Him everyday in every way: praising and praying, singing and speaking, writing and simply living to honor Him.  (Romans 12:1, Colossians 3:17)

Pain/Suffering:  Christ's pain was God's gift of love.  God uses it to allow us to comfort others (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).  Through pain we gain perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-5) - it makes us strong and deepens our faith.

Self-denial:  Put simply, it's not about me. (Luke 9:23)

People:  Treat others better than yourself.  Do not judge based on apperance/lifestyle/culture -- have a passion for all of God's people.  (Romans 15:1,2; Hebrews 13:1-3)

Genuineness:  Fakes and unrealness creates false identity and causes a lack of trust in self and others.  Being real allows for real relationships. (1 Timothy 4:12)

Truth/Justice/Fairness:  Having friends/family be falsely accused of things and seeing the agony of those situations burns me to the point of settling for nothing but the truth.  (Ephesians 4:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:21,22; 2 Thessalonians 1:6)

My Vision Is:
I desire to use the story God's written in me to motivate others to accept, live in, and share a a Jesus Centered life.

I want to revive the spirituatlly dead and help those who are lackign in faith to find and experience teh joy of being a God-chaswer.  I want to open the minds of thsoe who have closed teh door to the power of teh Holy Spirit.

My vision is to carry this out in one or more of the following:
                    Writing a book
                    Motivational teaching/speaking
Forming some sort of "prayer" ministry

My vision is also to enhance my personal prayer life by designating two times in the day devoted only to prayer and worship.
